Biography

The Pleasure Field is a two-piece electronic band that formed in 2010. The band is comprised of lead vocalist Curtis Washington and producer Christopher Paulson. Both artists are Los Angeles natives and have extensive musical repertoires having worked in a myriad of different musical genres, giving The Pleasure Field a sound that borrows from many different forms but exists as something unique and original.  Both musicians draw from true and real life experiences, making the music genuine and accessible to anyone who has ever experienced lost loves, hardships, or overcome personal adversity.  Some have described their music as “dark”, but both artists admittedly use the cathartic process of musical creation as a means to not only share some of their seemingly tragic experiences, but also offer the listener a sense of hope.
